Megan has an extensive scientific research background covering areas such as polymer chemistry, biomaterials, and cell biology.  Megan graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with a BS in Biological

Engineering.  She then completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Colorado.  Megan’s PhD involved synthesizing thiol- and alkene-functionalized siloxane oligomers, utilizing photo- and redox-based free radical initiation systems, and characterizing cross-linked polymer networks.

After completing her PhD, Megan worked as a postdoctoral scientist. Her research in these positions involved developing cross-linked biopolymers for use as shape encoded biosensors and biomimetic dermal scaffolds, respectively.
